Summer training programs for research projects

The Dean of the Faculty of Commerce opens the door for registration for students to participate in summer training programs for important research projects to serve the business sector community
Under the auspices of Prof. Ayman Othman, the President of the University and the supervision and coordination of Prof. Louay Nusrat, Vice President for Education and Students, Prof. Hassan Al Shoqati, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, announced the opening of registration for students to participate in the implementation of six important research training projects for students during the summer months:
1/ A project for the development and prospects of manufacturing and exporting phosphate products in Aswan Governorate.
2/ A project for the development and prospects of manufacturing and exporting ferrosilicon products in Aswan Governorate.
3/ A project for the development and prospects of manufacturing and exporting sugar products in Aswan Governorate.
4 / A project for development and prospects for manufacturing and exporting date products in Aswan Governorate.
5/ A project for the development and prospects of manufacturing and exporting aromatic plants in Aswan Governorate.
6/ A project for development and prospects for manufacturing and exporting chemical nitrogen fertilizer products in Aswan Governorate.
These projects are based on an economic and market survey of a strategic national product in the governorate, limiting the size of its production and consumption, studying the map of its local and international markets, export or import rates for its inputs and outputs, and building a proposed map for success in expanding production and export in the future.
The projects deal with determining the international codes for each national product in its various forms and branches according to the international commodity classifications HS and the International Standard Industrial Classification ISIC.
This particular part is considered a strong addition to serving the goals of business sector companies to identify their foreign markets and build scientific paths to penetrate them.
It is expected that these completed projects will be sent to the companies and the higher government agencies concerned with them as a national contribution from the Faculty of Commerce in improving the business environment in Aswan, especially what is related to the business sector companies.
Professors will be identified to supervise and follow up these projects with groups of students enrolled in each project. The faculty will also offer valuable incentive prizes for the winning projects, as the completed projects will be evaluated through committees approved by the university administration.
Students can register data at the Dean’s Office throughout the week.
