On Tuesday, an online meeting is held in attendance of Dr. Amr Talat -Minister of Communications and Information Technology in participation with Prof.Ahmed Ghallab-Aswan University President for inaugurating Huawei laboratory for the artificial intelligence under the auspices of the Ministry of Communication &Information Technology; Prof.Ahmed Ghallab confirmed on within the framework of the digital transformation and in the light of the crisis of Covide -19 the words of the innovation and development have to be in our minds for finding effective exit for this global pandemic in the present time because of the digital transformation is considered a step for overcoming the economic crisis.
The inauguration of Huwaei Academy at Aswan University is considered a basic foundation for the digital transformation for companies and foundations, the academy also provides a smart treating for data, Huwaei Academy at Aswan University aims to provide students with the basics of the smart knowledge and working on providing and developing the creative skills of the students.
Prof.Ahmed Ghallab expressed his pleasure with the inauguration of Huwaei Academy at Aswan University for serving all faculties’ students and working on raising their efficiency through the various training courses over the academic year for preparing them for the competence in both the labor market and the digital transformation field.
Dr.Louy Saad Al-Dien -Dean of Faculty of Engineering pointed out Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) among Aswan University, Faculty of Engineering, and Huwaei Academy through January month, 2020 and it has been agreed to establish a branch in Upper Egypt for setting the first Huwaei Academy at Aswan University for serving sons’ of Aswan governorate and students of Aswan University; while students will be taught by the infrastructure of the communications, technology information and smart devices.
There are four main fields that students train on them: communications nets -Technology information-smart devices-Cloud services; Dr.Louy Saad Al-Dien explained Aswan governorate is considered within (8) governorates in which the digital transformation will apply on them, so Huwaei Academy at Aswan University will have a great effect in graduating caders students in the field of artificial intelligence in Aswan.
