According to Aswan University Research Prizes and Awards Committee Result for the year 2020, the following statistics have been clear:
the total number of the submitted researches (541), won (436) scientific researches according to the listed criteria in the regulation of the scientific research prizes (2020) as the following :
-(134) Q1 searches in both Scopus & WOS databases
– (17) Q1 searches in WOS databases
– (119) Q1 searches in Scopus databases
-(102) Q2 searches in one of Scopus & databases WOS
– (43) Q3 searches in one of Scopus & WOS databases
-(18) Q4 searches in one of Scopus & WOS databases
-(3) searches listed in Scopus & WOS databases that have no Q,
and the number of researches that deserve International Cooperation Awards:
• Number (34) research in cooperation with universities among the top 500 universities according to QS, ARWU. And Aswan University is the first affiliation with research
• Number (216) research published in cooperation with universities among the top 500 universities according to QS, ARWU
• Number (1) published research among the best journals according to the Shanghai classification
105 research papers did not deserve awards for not conforming to the listed criteria.
Accordingly, the total value of the scientific publishing awards for the year 2020 presented amounted to (2,601,500) only two million six hundred and one thousand and five hundred Egyptian pounds.
