Prof. Ahmad Ghallab – President of Aswan University- said that The Professional Development Center of Aswan University announced about the first virtual recruitment platform for the year 2021 for Egyptian under the patronage of the minister of higher education and scientific research.
Prof. Ahmad Ghallab – president of Aswan University- added that this virtual recruitment platform will Provides job and training opportunities throughout the year also allowed for students to contact usually with companies and the owners of jobs and applying their CV to make interviews on (Monday,22. March.2021) This is the second forum of its kind, as the first virtual forum held in September 2020 achieved great success in the presence of elite business owners and about 4000 students and graduates from ten Egyptian universities in nine governorates from Aswan to Alexandria.
Prof. Ahmad Ghallab referred to this initiative that comes under the umbrella of the University Centers for Professional Development project, which has reached so far 15 centers in ten government universities which Established in cooperation with USAID and technical support from the American University in Cairo to work on bridging the gap between university education and the needs of the labor market and industry by providing vocational guidance and training free of charge to various students and graduates.
Prof. Ahmad Ghallab stressed on the importance of launching this permanent employment platform as part of our constant endeavor to serve students and graduates. This virtual employment platform is a dynamic three-dimensional platform that supports business owners in breaking free from the limitations of traditional recruitment processes and enables business owners and job seekers to communicate virtually in a manner like the feeling of direct and realistic dealing. The platform provides networking opportunities and access to the best distinguished young Egyptian cadres, through which business owners meet university students and graduates in a virtual environment and use chat rooms, teleconferencing, webcasts, virtual seminars, and webinars, or email to exchange information about available jobs.
