The national institute for governance and sustainable development and Aswan University_ The training arm of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development_ has signed a cooperation agreement with Aswan University in fields of governance and administrative development and supporting developing human capabilities and research studies and scientific events.<\/span><\/p>\n

The agreement was signed by Dr. Sherifa Sherief _the executive director of the National institute for Governance and Sustainable development, Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman_ Acting president of Aswan University _ and after signing the agreement, as Dr. Sherifa Sherif expressed her happiness with the joint cooperation between the Institute and Aswan University as an advanced and integrated scientific edifice that seeks to spread knowledge and build the human factor for the advancement of Egyptian society; they explained that the institute seeks to establish partnerships with scientific institutions, private sector companies and public sector institutions, but cooperation with the Academic authorities comes to the fore because of their profound impact on the personality of contemporary human beings, and Aswan University, with its distinguished faculties and research centers, always plays a remarkable role in developing local cadres and future leaders.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0She added that the role played by the institute depends on forming and qualifying and raising knowledge and skills of Egyptian state in all fields with aim of achieving sustainable development according to Egypt Vision 2020, pointing to that this cooperation represent a basis for joint support for holding trainings and scientific events and conducting joint research to develop human capabilities in general and the capabilities of workers in national institutions in particular.<\/span><\/p>\n

Her Excellency indicated that the importance of this cooperation is represented in joint endeavor to set a rational administrative governance system for the university, which can be applied in all universities of the Republic in the long term in support of achieving Egypt\u2019s Vision 2030 by developing aware national cadres.<\/span><\/p>\n

From his part Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman _ acting president of Aswan University_ that this protocol comes in frame of Egypt vision 2030 and what it represents as an essential stage in the comprehensive development process in Egypt and reforms in various fields. The protocol emphasizes the importance of forming partnerships with local and international institutions, It also seeks to consolidate sustainable development goals and principles of governance through the research and education system, based on the national strategy for science, technology and innovation, with the aim of building an Egyptian scientific society that achieves global leadership in science and technology through permanent education that enhances an environment that encourages innovation to solve society\u2019s problems. And work to support the national economy through effective knowledge and in light of achieving sustainable development goals and adhering to social responsibility\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman explained that the cooperation agreement aims to strengthen joint partnership between university and the institute in fields of development and restructuring process in addition to the development and human capabilities and scientific research fields and Advisory services and others.<\/span><\/p>\n

His excellency referred to the most important fields of Cooperation according to the agreement that represented in implementing a group of training programs for university students and employees in the administrative apparatus in the university, and the implementing a number of seminars and workshops for university employees on topics and specializations that are compatible with the nature of their work, as well as the institute providing training programs for university students to qualify them practically to engage in labor market. the agreement also includes setting frameworks and policies for an administrative governance system for the university and ways to implement them effectively to contribute in achieving Egypt\u2019s 2030 vision, in addition to the coordination to develop a work plan to restructure and automate administrative processes for all university services, contributing in developing the quality of government services, and supporting institutional competitiveness to create A qualitative leap in the university\u2019s performance, in addition to contributing in the modernization and development of the information infrastructure and applying electronic university programs at the university, and participation in the preparing feasibility studies to establish specialized academic degrees in universities that serve the goals of sustainable development and governance according to Egypt\u2019s vision 2030.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Nabil Fouad, Director General of Business Development and Human Resources at the Institute, referred to the most important activities proposed for the implementation of the cooperation agreement, represented in the exchange of visits of delegations between the two sides in order to inform each side about the experiences and expertise of the other side in the field of training, as well as the exchange of trainers, experts, researchers, information, publications and training materials. scientific publications and electronic software, as well as benefiting from the infrastructure available in both sides that serves the training and qualification processes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For his part, Dr. Hamada Ragab Mosalam, assistant professor of planning and development and responsible for implementing national policies related to governance and sustainable development at the university_ confirmed that the cooperation protocol between the university and the institute comes within the framework of Egypt\u2019s vision 2030 and what it includes from strengthen the sustainable development goals to achieve the principles of governance that include transparency, integrity, efficiency, effectiveness, participation, accountability, and the rule of law through the research and education system; The protocol also contributes to spreading the concept of governance and sustainable development among students, and helps to achieve rational management at the university in light of the goals of sustainable development 2030.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
