Aswan University, headed by Prof.Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed<\/span> <\/strong>\u2013Aswan University President leads a new experiment in Aswan to provide the agricultural products and planting the medical plants and the oil crops. Prof.Ahmed Ghallab \u2013University President said in the framework of the sate\u2019s directives to increase the agricultural area, and the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, as the universities are productive, Aswan University cultivated (50)acres in the Airport Road, that have several departments of the braided and Siwa palm trees of high quality, and cultivated the Flim grapes and mango on the area of (3) acres with the different kinds of luxury mangoes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ghallab added, (8) of greenhouses have been cultivated such as cucumbers, peppers, eggplants, okra, strawberries, planting Cantaloupe, peanuts, and cultivating Jojoba tree on which some of the oil industries of the engines\u2019 airplanes, some of the cosmetics; and work is underway to complete the rehabilitation of the rest of the desert area in front of the university in Sahari. Dr.Yasser Abdul Hamid<\/span><\/strong> \u2013Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, pointed out there are(7) acres inside the campus on which some cultivations are based on the research experiments for the students of the graduate studies and scientific research and the academic staff; the university was able to cultivate the Barhi palm in Nasr Al-Noba farm on nearly (4)acres that herald production in the next year.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nDr.Mohamed Abu Al-Lail<\/span><\/strong>-Undersecretary of Faculty of Agriculture for Serving the Community and Developing the Environment; explained Faculty of Agriculture established a several of research units such as bread and pastries unit, dairy productions unit, and the oil press unit that based on the seeds of the oil, aromatic and medical crops, also university redeveloped Animal Production and Poultry Farm in Aniba that includes (6) wards for the poultry production, a number of (2) ward for the Animal Production on the area of 10 acres.<\/span><\/p>\n
